Question
hey chip, i am one of your fans from evansville. i am facing rotator cuff surgery and wonder if there is any bowling left for me after i rehab. i know that rick steelsmith had it a few years back, but i don't have anywhere near the backswing heighth that he of you have.
thanks

Answer
As long as you listen to your doctor and physical therapist, I dont expect you to have any loss of bowling after the surgery.  I am sure you will have to start back with a lighter ball and work your way back up.  I still throw 15# bowling balls.

Even with my wrist surgery, I was antsy on coming back too soon.  I was patient and listened to my doctors and now I dont have any troulbe.  Just dont rush things just because you feel like you can.

You might be like me and be better when you come back than before the surgery.

Good luck,
Chip
