Bowling/new ball

QuestionHello Chip,
I have been reading a lot of your replies to previoyus questions and they are very helpful to me. I am interested to buy a new ball and would like your expert advise. I am left handed bowler, light handed, low rev, medium speed. I am using a No Mercy with #1 drilling on it, but I cannot get more revolution on it. I am looking for a ball that is easy to put rev on considering I am light handed, i am mostly interested on Track or Roto grip, but any brand will be fine with me if that is what you will recommend. Please give me layout recommendations too. I throw my ball with wrist straight and fingers at about seven o'clock at release.
Thanks a Lot for your help.
Mario
AnswerIf you want to go with Track, I would look at the new Uprising SE. If you want to go with Roto Grip, I would look at the Cell Pearl.
A standard layout for both balls will be fine. Track has layouts for the Rising series of balls that I would follow. With the Pearl Cell, I would place the pin above the ring finger with the CG about an inch from your midline. Trying stronger layouts will make the ball roll sooner and will not give you the backend reaction you are looking for.
Good luck,
Chip
