My dad has a very old ebonite ball and wanted to see id we could find out some info with the serial number... is that at all possible and who would I need to contact that could help me track down the information on the serial number?
The serial number is 8-K 69969.  Thanks for your help.

Every manufacturer codes their serial numbers differently. The first number in the serial number for Ebonite is usually the last digit of the year. 1968? 78? Letter is an indicator of month manufacturer, I believe. Any idea how old the ball is? Is it a rubber ball? Those are OLD.
