Bowling/Meaning of Pin Out

Question
What do it means to have a pin out? Is it the same as a pro pin. Also what effect do it have on the balls' reaction?

Answer
A pro pin is usually a pin that is farther away from the CG than normal.  A pin out ball is a ball that has the pin at least 2 inches from the CG.
Pin out balls allow for more layout choices than a Pin in ball so you can create a wider variety of looks on the lane.
If a pin in and a pin out ball are drilled with the same layout, the pin out will read the lane later and stronger than the pin in.  Of course, this will depend some on the bowler and the lane condition.
Good luck,
