Question
QUESTION: i had got a fury pearl recently for a big coming tournament. the tournament oiling is outside line 40 ft. what layout should i use to suit the lane?

ANSWER: There is a lot of info needed to lay out a ball for a bowler.  It is best to be able to watch the person bowl so ball speed, rev rate, axis tilt and rotation can be seen.  Some of this can be taken off of and old ball, but some cannot.
The layout will also depend on the pin and CG distance on each particular ball.
I would suggest talking to your ball driller and hopefully there will be time to watch you bowl before things are decided on.

Good luck,
Chip

QUESTION: i do have fast ball speed and rev.. and i turn my ball to become side roll. my pap is 3 7/8 and up 1/8.

Answer
I might look at a 4 X 4 type of layout.  That is just a possible suggestion for your ball driller.  He might be able to watch you bowl and come up with something a little different.

Good luck,
Chip

That ball track seems to be on the low side, so you may want to put the pin below the fingers.
