Question
Hi, I am rather new to bowling and my current average is 134. I don't know if i have a real style, but i do hook the ball. I want to purchase a new ball. Any suggestions?

Answer
Until you gain more control and consistency with your game, stay away from the high end bowling balls.  I would start out with a Brunswick Groove, or for more hook potential, the Power Groove.  Even these balls can be tricky if your ball speed, rotation, or angle varies at all.

Good luck,
Chip
