Bowling/Ball Choice

Question
Plan to join a recreational league and wondering what a good ball choice might be.  Throw a straight ball and not currently interested in the hook/curve style.  Please advise.

Answer
For the basic ball, look at the Brunswick TZone, the Columbia White Dot, the Ebonite Maxim, or the Storm Ice Storm.  If you want something with more personality, and of course price, you can look at the Brunswick Vizaballs and the Roto Grip Golden Globe.
