Question
Chip, I know you & am a good friend of Steve down here in Baton Rouge.  I am 67 years old & my ball speed is droping, I have a Classic Zone red pin ball that has never been drilled. Would this make a good dry lane ball ??  I bowl in Baton Rouge & McComb Ms & everything is breaking to soon for me now..  I am kinda a stroker/ tweener 13/14 on the speed & want something I can roll up & in... curve instead of a hook.... what'cha think.   Hope you are doing good up there in Kentucky is it?   Hurricane alley down here...

Answer
There are times we wish we were still there in hurricane alley :)

I would think the classic zone would still be a bit much, but that would depend on what you are using now.  A really weak layout on it might work, but there are better dry lane balls out there.  One of the best options for you may be going back to a standard urethane ball.  That will increase your control, but you will give up a bit on the hitting power.  Lane #1 made a ball that might work as well.  Steve would be a bit more up to date on that though.  At this time, I am unemployed so I am not up on everyones line like I am Storm.

Good luck,
Chip

Hope you all survived the weather so far this year.
