if i get a pearl bowling ball and  the ball go long what part
 of the lane should i play the ten board or the five board.

You buy a ball to play the part of the lane YOU want to play.

What part of the lane do you want to play?

What part of the lane do you play now? With what?

Bowling balls are tools. You pick a ball (with input from your driller) that compliments you game.
