Bowling/Tight finger holes

Question
My recently purchased Brunswick Power Groove has very snug finger holes so that they produce suction and make it very difficult to release. I hear popping sounds and once was not able to release at all. I have made a great effort to relax my grip but nothing works. Should I have the holes enlarged? The local pro shop tells me I have the right size holes for my fingers.

Answer
The popping sounds are not really a sign of finger holes that are too tight.  Soreness on the fingers or joints would be more of a sign of holes that were too tight.
A finger tip grip would be tighter than a conventional grip.

If you would like them to be a bit bigger, there is no reason to not have them sanded out some.  You can always add a piece of tape if you get them too loose,

Good luck,
