Question
hi, I've been using a refilled 16# flip side wow that was refilled right over my buddies left hand...i throw i smooth down and in from the gutter...i throw about 13-14 mph....but the only thing i change after oil breakdown is my speed...my regular speed is 17-18 mph but i loose control so my 200-205 average will suffer if i try to put too much spin on this ball but i want a ball that i can maybe throw a little harder without adding spin....can you give me an idea what is out there for me....
my home proshop will just want to sell me what he wants to sell me so maybe you can throw me an opinion....

thank you

Answer
I am not sure I quite understand what you issue is.  Do you want something that you can keep the slower speed?  Do you want something that you can throw harder?

If you want something that you can throw with the softer speed, I would look at the Storm HyRoad or similar.  This type of ball will let you play a straighter line as the oil breaksdown and keep you further to the outside of the lane.  It will have a sharper breakpoint as well.

If you want something that you can throw harder and still have hook potential, then I would suggest the Storm T-Road solid or something similar.  A ball with the stronger and duller coverstock will want to hook sooner in the oil or with the higher ball speed.

The first part of your question leads me to my first answer and the second part of your question leads me to my second answer.

Both balls have great performance without the high performance price.

Good luck,
