Bowling/degrees in layout

Question
Hi Chip,
I was wondering about the reality of cg position based on degrees.  If it is
based on the pin to pap line, then the height of the pin would place the cg in
various positions depending on the pin height with the same pap.  At a
certain pin height, the cg could be "stacked" and if the pin was lower, given
the same degree, the cg would be kicked out to the right more.  Does this
matter in the totality of the layout and ball reaction? or am I
misunderstanding the use of degrees (pin to pap/pin to cg)?
Thanks for your help and expertise.

Answer
Using degrees for layouts is best used with the dual angle system.  A good look at that is available on the MoRich website.  Here is the link http://www.morichbowling.com/MosCorner/DualAngleSeminar/DualAngleSeminar.htm

Diagrams are much easier to understand.

I hope this helps.

Good luck,
Chip
