Question Hello. I am looking into getting a new ball that I can play straighter up the lanes and still have enough snap at the end to carry that 10pin. I myself have a lot of revs and everything I get seems have to much snap at the end for me. I bowl on medium to heavy oil so any of your thoughts will help. Thanks again.
Answer What you want does exactly what you already have. A ball that is designed or drilled to go long will have the snap reaction. If you want to cut down on the snap, apply a little surface to the ball. The problem with that is you lose some of the length that you like to see. I would suggest you try that with a ball that you already own and see what you think. Use a 200 Abralon pad.
A ball choice that may fit your need is the Storm Natural. It will allow you to play much straighter but it wont have the snap reaction on the backend.
