Bowling - Drilling question

Question
I have just bought a new ball it  is the Storm Street Rod Solid. It has a 4" pin and 1.97 oz. of top weight. I bought this ball to sub in for my Storm Secret Agent that tends to be a little strong sometimes the other night it was jumping pocket no matter how deep I played.I also carrry a Storm Pyro. Now the guy who drilled both did not find my PAP he just drilled it to what "he" thought I should have, and at that point I did not know a difference. He drilled my agent with the pin 3 1/4 FROM PAP and CG 3 3/4 from PAP. The pyro is almost a 4 X 4 but the CG is almost a 4 1/4. My question is with this street rod having a 4" pin and I want something that is not as strong as the Agent but still able to handle oil what would you suggest. I am a tweener, but I change my hand to suit the lanes. Will the long pin limit my choices I usually go with a 3" but this one was cheap. Also, if you drill it to have the pin below the finger a little and the cg ends up close to thumb hole will that affect it any?

Answer
This ball should do what you are looking for.  I have thrown several of them and the are very controllable.  As you move the pin down towards the center of of your grip, it will read the lane a bit sooner.  Moving the pin below the fingers should be fine, especially with the lower top weight.

Good luck,
Chip
