Bowling - Layouts

Expert: Chip Aki - 11/9/2009

Question
Chip, what kind of layout would you recommend to get more side rotation from somebody that comes up the back of the ball with approx. 75 degree axis rotation?

Answer
I would look for higher RG balls and then place the pin just above the ring finger with the CG 4 inches from your PAP.  A good strong pearl coverstock will help create more backend movement too.  Also, look for balls with higher top weights.

Good luck,
Chip
