QuestionIn response the your question. I am right handed, all of my finger pitches are zero as well, thumb or hand is not that flexible but average. fingers joints are in the middle of the holes with a relaxed thumb only in the ball.
AnswerAl,
Not sure how long your span is, but if your coming out of a zero zero fit, it is probably around 4 to 4 1/4 inches long. Average to stiff and you'd hang up on the front of the thumb hole if it was any longer. Getting you flat on the ball is not easy without seeing and feeling your hand but, I'd suggest 1/4 left lateral on the middle finger with 1/8 away, 5/8 right lateral on the ring with 1/8 away and leave your thumb at zero. Do you have any rubbing/callousing on your fingers?
You might want to lengthen your span a touch, if you track more than 2 inches from the thumb and fingers. How long are your current spans? How meaty is your hand? If the palm around the thumb joint is thick I's adjust the thumb pitch. Do you use grips? What kind? Thanks for the questions, good luck with the changes.
