I've been bowling several tournaments on real long oil patterns, I was wondering what type of layouts would you suggest for longer patterns?

Controllable, according to how strong your rev rate and ball speed are. The harder you throw it, the quicker it needs to slow down on long and/or heavy oil patterns. I'm a fan of basic drillings with more surface, so when the oil finally starts to dissipate the ball doesn't start hooking like crazy.
