Question
Hi,
When you refer to the common term SPAN; do you refer as thumb cut-finger cut? It will be all different when thumb and finger inserts are added. Specially finger inserts with power lift. Do you take both of them in consideration on measurements..or? thx.

Answer
Each pro shop has their on way to measure that.  I usually will go with the full span from insided of hole to inside of hole, especially on the first ball drilled for a customer.  Once we settle on the type of inserts used, I will go with a cut to cut measurement which does not include the inserts.
The best way to look at it:  full span is includes the thickness of the inserts
cut to cut does not include the thickness of the inserts.
