I recently learned how to throw a hook while bowling and need to get my ball plugged and re-drilled, what I am wondering is, do I have to get all three wholes plugged or can I just get the thumb moved and tips put in??? Just wondering!!!

Chances are you can. Moving the core to change it's influence is a possibility, but if this is your first finger tip, gauging how much different the ball rolls (with just the grip change) with a very similar layout will be helpful information for future choices.
