Bowling/right ball to use

Question
I want to know when to use a ball that has a controlled arc and when to use a ball that goes long and then flips.

Answer
Joe,
Typical lane conditions consist of more friction close to the gutter. If you roll straighter, an arcy ball reaction won't over react (as much) if you get it wide.

When a lane opens up or you like to play more inside on the lane, the stronger move off friction down lane suits a flippy ball better, you get better recovery.

Thanks for the question. Good luck.
