Happy Holidays Warren.
Purchased the Virtual Energy recently. The lanes that I bought it at were wood. I threw it and after understanding the ball, I loved it. I bowl on synthetic lanes. Dont see the same hook and reaction as I did on wood. The ball is pearl, and I do have it sanded a bit..any suggestions?  I like the ball, but ....

You changed the surface so it bites earlier. It might be a touch too early, so you might want to save some energy by leaving the surface a little rough but shining the ball back up. The ball will transition sooner than box (out-of-box) finish but will store more energy than rolling it rough/dull (you'll find a bit stronger finish).

The wood lanes you rolled it on have more texture than synthetics. The smoother surface is allowing it to skid (maybe just a little) to far. Sound about right?
