Dr.Friedl,(I say that because you are a practitioner and surgeon of your skills)
 is it illegal to use turtle wax on a bowling ball when bowling in leagues or on the circuit and tournaments? If you bowl a 300 using turtle wax, will the score stand?  Thank you.

Quick answer, can't use it   DURING   ANY competition sanctioned by United States Bowling Congress (it's a surface modification rule, not a good substance bad substance rule).
