Bowling/My Wrist is Killing me!

Question
I just want to thank you for the clear answer you gave for my first question (approach diagonal/parrallel).  I saw an immediate improvement in the comfort of my swing by concentrating on walking towards the pins.
I am now in my 5th week of bowling and my new high is a 254, last week.
I bowled 16 games in 2 days last week, took a day off, and almost did not go out the next day (I did an bowled 5 more games) because my hand, wrist, and forearm were so sore. That was 4 days ago.
I bowled with a house ball for the first 3 weeks until I started rolling in the 200's.  I purchased a used 16lb Dyno-Thane Vendetta Maxx on eBay.  I took it out the day I got it and bowled 8 games.  Averaged 186 with a 210 and 254.
I had ball re-drilled for my hand (my first ball!!!) yesterday, four days since my last outing.  Span was increased by 5/8" and the diameter of the holes nearly halved. Finger Tip, pitch grips.
I bowled 4 games with it last night( hated it!! ) Had thumb beveled to relieve some pressure and flipped the pitch grips because I didn't like them.  I love my ball now!!!
I am right handed, and throw a pretty average ball. Average speed, Average Revs, probably an average Axis as well.  I stand on second dot from left(30?), throw over 3rd arrow from right(15?) and the ball usually swings out to the 7-5 board.
My hand, wrist, and forearm feel fine today, until I picked up my ball.  Wow, I can't hold it with just my right arm at 90* to the floor for more than a few seconds before I start shaking from the pain shooting through the back of my wrist.  The pain is centered around the protruding wrist bone.
I was in good shape this fall having been active in multiple sports all summer long.  A knee injury has put me up for the winter.
So what's going on Warren?  Have I over-extended small muscles and tendons by flip-flopping between different balls and setups while trying to learn my swing.  Could I be doing something wrong and causing injury to myself?

I wish we could carry a continual diaglogue so I didn't have to repeat all this information.  I just see you ask so many guys all these questions and I don't know what you'd want.  I'm sorry if this is too long.  Feel free to edit:

Answer
David,
You are possibly just overdoing. The various fits also demand more from your hand, arm, muscles. A comfortable fit demands no, NO muscle tension.

You've gone from a conventional grip house ball to a full finger tip with grips (jumping right into the deep end).

Give yourself some time to "heal" and take it slow. If you have discomfort, even a little, stop. I'd suggest you see a doctor if the problem persists.

The level of awareness and knowledge in the ball drilling business varies. You may be struggling with a fit you need to grip too much. As I mentioned, current thinking in the industry is to achieve a tension FREE fit.

Thanks for the questions. great bowling.
