I've had the same bowling ball for about 7 years, and I've bowled nearly 1000 games with it.

There are noticeable scratches on its surface. Is this normal wear and tear, or am I abusing the ball in some way? Also, would the bowling ball cleaner make them less noticeable?

The wear and tear is normal, you've almost bowled 1000 games. A resurface could help recover the surface that once was.

Cleaners help with consistent performance, polishes help protect and help with skid downlane and energy retention.
