My husband has 56+year old Brunswick ball in very good condition red marblized it saya on it the Pearl with a big P and the numbers 1LJ81 the 8 maybe a 3 the number is worn Can you tell me anything about it

The ball, more than likely, was made of hard rubber. If it's a shiny ball, polyester balls hit the market way less than 50 years ago. It's a standard constuction (pancake weightblock) ball, all were 50 years ago. Not much more to say.
