Bowling/What ball should I get?

Question
I am very new to bowling but have recently been playing 2-3 times a week and have gotten my average up to about 175.

However, I have only been using 15lb plastic house balls with a stroker style delivery.

I am ready to purchase a ball, however, I have no good pro-shops in my area. How should I go about choosing a ball, determining my PAP, and then determining what drilling pattern I should use?

Thank you very much in advance!

Answer
I would start with an entry or mid level ball.
Entry level would be balls like the Storm Tropical Storm line.  The mid level would start with the Storm Street Rods.

Go with a standard label layout for the best control.  That will place the pin near your ring finger with a slight CG shift to the right.

Good luck,
Chip
