Bowling/best drilling pattern and ball selection

Question
Greetings,  I am  female and have been bowling for 24 years with a 187 average and have recently switched from a full roller to a 3/4 roller (tracks high). I am a tweener with medium speed and I use 14 & 15 lb balls. I am planning on purchasing a storm virtual gravity to take to the nationals in Reno and Vegas. My house is wood and I have difficulty getting my ball to hook on synthetic. Could you suggest a drilling pattern, pin positioning etc side or top weight to get my ball to move on heavy oil or synthetic conditions for the virtual gravity?

Thank you, Treva

Answer
I would look for a ball with a 3-4 inch pin with 3- 3.5 ounces of top weight.

Place the pin just above the ring finger and the CG 2 1/2 inches to the right of your center line.  Place an extra hole just past the PAP, if the extra hole is needed.

I would leave the ball surface as the out of box finish.

Good luck,
Chip

When are you coming to Vegas?
