Question
Some times, the ball is tracking on the outside of the fingers and thumb holes but most of the time the track is between the finger and thumb hole or over the thumb hole. I am keeping my thumb at the 1 o'clock position at the point of release or what?

Answer
Bill,
Your wrist may be collapsing and rotating allowing the ball to come off your hand and roll between fingers and thumb holes.

Be aware of the hand position immediately after release. What the hand is doing is an indicator of what's going on.

Keeping the track of the ball off the thumb and out from between the fingers and thumb, you need to position the ball, swing it and release it with more consistency. How's your fit? Do you turn your hand to release pressure in hand, wrist or arm? Is your swing relaxed or tense and muscled?

Let me know more about what's happening. Thanks for the question.
