I just recently bought a jaguar bowling ball from a friend and I was wonder what the hook potential was.

The Jaguar is an older Ebonite ball, should match up to a bit more than an entry level ball.

Shiny and smooth, it will skid quite a bit, but the core allows for as much as you've got, in terms of rev rate and rotation. The more hand you have, the more hook/backend you'll get.
