Question IF I ASK A PRO SHOP TO DRILL ME A 4 X 4 DRILLING WITH THE PIN ABOVE THE RING FINGER. HOW DOES THE DRILLER MEASURE THE 4 X 4.
Answer Joseph,
After two attempts to answer you, where my silly Vista OS crashed and I lost my response, I'm trying again.
The first 4 in the layout term 4X4 refers to placing the pin of the ball 4 inches from your expected Positive Axis Point (PAP). The second 4, also a reference to a 4 inch distance but some places refer to the Mass Bias (MB) and PAP or some refer to the Center of Gravity (CG) and the PAP.
But placing the pin above your fingers, and having the PAP be 4 inches away isn't extremely likely. So without knowing your axis co-ordinates, I'm thinking it's not very likely that both the 4X4 layout and pin above is doable for you.
Thanks for the question. Sorry it took awhile to get back. Good luck.
