my wrist support is something like the attached photo. it has knobs to adjust the horizontal and the vertical. So my question is what does each adjustment mean and what is its effects? im using an early roll ball, what does each adjust mean and how does it effect the movement of my ball.
thanks

Answer Archie,
You've added a wrist device to help give your game some structure and repeatability. Unfortunately, without seeing you bowl, I don't have the remotest idea what you do and therefor no idea what the device might offer.
Your ball, the lane condition, your speed and rev rate, your axis tilt and axis rotation are all variables. The sport of bowling is about consistency. If you can't control some or all of the above, even though most lane conditions "steer" the ball to the head pin, you will struggle.
The device will help with axis tilt and axis rotation. The problem is, you haven't shared what it is you want. What do you want the ball to do that it doesn't do now? You bought this for some reason, what is the reason?
You have an early rolling ball (because you throw hard, there's lots of oil, you want the ball to hook more???). What ball? Drilled how? Why do you roll what you roll? What do you average? How long have you bowled? Rh or Left handed? What do you want to accomplish in bowling? Who would let you buy a $50 wrist device when you have no idea what it's for or what you might get out of it? Websites do it all the time. Did a pro shop sell you the device?
You have an execution problem, you try to fix it with practice and guidance (coaching). Next step a device like yours that can mimic the hand position you want/need. You use it in practice to give you the feel you want. Take it off try some. Put it back on, try some more. Repeat.
You spent the money, now you want to find out what to do with it. Do you see that it should be the other way around.
Walking you through all the variables is infinite. Please share some of your motivation and I can see if I can understand better what you are trying to accomplish and see if it's possible the device can help. Thanks for the question. I look forward to hearing back from you. Good luck.
