Question I have been throwing a hook for about 2 yrs now and was successful until recently. I am not sure if the lanes where i bowl are being oiled more heavily now or if I need to get a more agressive ball. What are some of the most agressive balls out there right now?
Answer Jason,
Sometimes drier lanes will burn energy out of a shot/ball and it hooks less.
Many bowling centers don't condition the lanes as often, as heavily, in the spring and summer. Check with your center and see if the lanes are causing the reaction you see.
I can include a list of bowling balls, but if I knew what you were throwing, it would help narrow down things? Also, do you roll faster? slower(then most)? Let me know and we can get some specific details from your game, to help with a ball choice.
