Bowling/revs

Question
I have been bowling for about seven years now and i am not very new to hooking the ball. My problem is that as i am getting better, i am increasing my speed in order to leave less spares. My problem is i cannot get enough revs in order to keep up with my increasing speed. I am currently bowling in a league with an Ebonite Playmaker and i am planning on getting the new Storm Virtual Energy. i throw the ball about 18mph. Can you give me some tips to increasing my revs?

Answer
It takes a lot of work, forearm strength, proper torso tilt, soft hands, and a whole bunch of other stuff to increase your rev rate. It's not just a change in your hand position. Buying another ball is not the answer. The easiest way to get what you want is to find a USBC certified coach in your area, minimum of Silver certified. 18 mph is not too much too overcome. You can do it with a coach. Alone will take longer, plus if you don't go about it in the proper sequence, you'll have a lot of 'skills' to unlearn and re-learn, not to mention the risk of physical injury while you experiment.
