Bowling - wrist lock

Expert: Susie Minshew - 6/22/2009

Question
in bowling, I have a 14 pound Hammer Blue Vibe and I am trying to keep my wrist locked. because I can not lock my wrist, there is only about 5 percent hook in the ball.  My question is, how do you keep your wrist locked?

Answer
The easiest way is to get a Mongoose Lifter from your Pro Shop Operator. This is a brace that does not have a strap across the palm and therefore will not change your span. Be sure you get the Lifter and not any other kind. Changing your span with a brace is dangerous and unnecessary. Don't take any chances with your fit. Good luck!
