Question
I was wondering if you had any suggestions for me on a bowling ball. i throw a 14 ib ball with alot of revs. Im using and old ebonite gyro.how would i know how to drill it

Answer
Chris,
How is your Gyro drilled? It is a three piece ball (Ebonite did a couple different versions over the years). What would you like your new ball to do? skid further? hook harder? more? hook earlier? are the lanes oily? dry? medium?

Rev rate alone doesn't tell me enough to suggest a drilling or ball. What shape would you like from the ball reaction? long and late (hockey stick kind of move, or arcy/banana shape?

The Gyro would travel pretty far down the lane due to it's construction, and speed from you and it would hook (if it hooks much at all, on modern thicker oils) very late if at all. Let me know some more and we can try to address your needs. Thanks for the question.
