Question
What does it mean if a bowling ball is plugged? What does it mean to redrill a bowling ball? Can you redrill a plugged bowling ball? IM SOOOO CONFUSED!!! I need my ball to be redone. What i mean is the holes are too small. What can a pro shop do to make the holes bigger. Also I need a name taken out of the ball and put a new name in. How do they do that?

Answer
A plugged ball is a ball that the original holes have been filled in.  You can then redrill the plugged ball to the new uses specifications.
If the holes are too small, but the span is correct, the holes can be drilled out using a larger drill bit.  Not a big deal.
To change a name, the name would have to be drilled out, the area plugged, and the new name engraved on the ball.
