Bowling/Drilling for a full roller

Question
Hi Chip, I'm in the process of buying the 900 global bounty hunter. I am a full roller and throw the ball with medium speed. More of a stoker then a cranker. The web site that the ball is on is asking for where I want the pin placement. The balls I've had drilled in the past had the pin at around 8:00 to the left of the thumb hole. I'm assuming that the pin is the round circle that every ball has. Is this the correct position for the pin? If not where should it be? Thanks for your help.

Answer
Are you getting the ball drilled by the web site as well?  If so, placing the pin at 7:30 or 8:00 would be fine.  That is the best for bowlers with the full roller track.  If they are not drilling the ball, they may be just asking for the pin placement in terms of distance from the CG.  If that is the case, ask for a ball with a 3 to 4 inch pin.  This will be the most versatile for you.

Good luck,
Chip
