Question
QUESTION: hi. i just want to know, do plastic ball have center of gravity? also do plastic ball have major pin benchmark on the coverstock? i have plastic ball which brand KBS (i think) model Quest (blue colour) with serial number CKA1136. this ball don't have pin dot on it coverstock. also don't have CG mark on the coverstock

also want to know, how want to drill plastic ball to make it goes straighten?

ANSWER: A plastic ball will have a pin but it is meaningless in the layout of the ball.(some of the clear ones with objects in them do have pins)

I have not seen a ball of this type.  It will have sometype of marking for the CG.  A pro shop will be able to weigh the ball and find it before drilling.

The main reason a plastic ball will go straighter is the coverstock, not the way the ball is drilled.

Good luck,
Chip

QUESTION: can i drill finger and thumb holes deep inside? also can i drill balance hole on that ball? i want to decrease ball weight from 15lbs to 14lbs something. it is legal if i drill that ball with lefty drilling type?

Answer
You can drill it as you have mentioned as long as the ball stays legal according to USBC specifications.
You will not be able to take a 15# and lighten it to a 14# though.  At most, you can probably remove 4 to 5 ounces and keep the ball legal.

Good luck,
Chip
