Bowling/tape for thumb

Question
what is the correct way to put tape in the thumb hole? I need about 4 pieces of white tape

Answer
Usually the white tape will go on the front side of the thumb hole, or the pad side of the thumb.  However, using that many pieces on that side of the thumb only may make the ball feel as though it has excessive reverse pitch and lead to squeezing the ball.  Try to place one peice on the thumb nail side of the hole.  If that is too much texture, use a piece of black or smooth tape instead.

Good luck,
