Bowling/wood lane or synthetic lane
Expert: - 8/23/2009
Question1.I have the old (2nd hand) wood lane. I 'll install them for my bowling lane or I buy the new synthetic lane. The bowling company tell me install the new synthetic lane better. How do you think?
2.Compare Brunswick GS92 and GS96 (upgrade GS92)
AnswerBora,
There is more maintenance on a wood lane (sanding, screening and keeping the wood protected with coatings) than on synthetic.
New GSX series machines have only been around a short time and are modifications of the GS series. The ancient A2's lasted decades. The newer model pinsetters use more maintenance intensive systems and not many mechanics are trained on the systems. Cost of the machines will likely be CHEAP. But maintenance costs and costs for training personnel will be expensive or impossible to get.
