Bowling/Spare Ball!
Expert: - 9/3/2009
QuestionFirst off if I may...After my visit to your pro shop and have the chance to speak to you directly was a great experience, so I want to thank you for that and all the great information you provided to me about bowling. I'm not much of a bowler but I do love the sport (2nd to golf) and I'm very interested in improving myself in the game. Your help makes it more of a goal. Thanks again.
OK..My question is, what would you recommend and/or what type of ball would you consider good for a spare ball?
I'm a fan of Brunswick and Storm but very open to what would be best.

AnswerLeo,
Most spare balls are valued for there ability to do so little! Straight is Great. So while I have a tournament spare ball that is rubber (most basic three piece balls work fine), my everyday spare ball is a Storm plastic ball. Any plastic ball kept nice and shiny will usually work. A Brunswick T-Zone or Storm Spare Storm will do nicely.
Nice to see you. Look forward to helping you get better. Thanks for the question.
