Question
First off I am a high rev player. I purchased this ball a few months ago and the hook is uncontrollable.
I have no clue when it comes to layouts for my style. The pro-shop guy drilled it with the pin approx. 5" pin to PAP the pin is located just above the finger holes. Can a hole be drilled to help take some of the hook off?? Like I said I have no clue when it comes to layouts. Please help.

Answer
An extra hole may be added, but it wont change the reaction much.  If placed on your PAP, it might change the breakpoint shape a little.  I would not expect it to be enough to give you the reaction you are looking for.

Have you tried to play a tighter line with the ball?  If you get this ball into the dry part of the lane too soon, it will hook a lot.  If you can keep it in the oil longer, you might be able to enjoy the ball.

If you polish the ball, it may skid more but will snap much harder.  If you use a 4000 abralon pad on the ball, it may tame the backend reaction for you.

If you can find a T-Road pearl, that would be a good ball choice.

Good luck,
Chip
