Question
Hey there, my name is SGT Stover and I am station in germany and I just got back from IRAQ and I wanted to get a new ball for bowling I like the sport. I am right handed and I do tend to bend at the waist and drop my shoulder alittle but It does work for me most of the time. I was just curious is there a certin core that would work for me, and do you know what each core does. I do know I like the reactive resin balls better.

Answer
Michael,
Core and cover matching up to your skill set and the lane conditions you bowl on is what stores like mine are about.

Your ball speed is one indicator of how rough or smooth the cover needs to be, but core is a contributor to what the ball does downlane. Knowing your ball speed, rev rate, axis tilt and axis rotation and some idea of what the lane condition is and how you like to play the lane would all be needed to start to suggest a ball.

What do you use now and what would you change? What are the lanes like in Germany? Oily? Medium? Dry? Wood lanes or synthetic? lots of questions??

Thanks for your question. Let me know more and maybe I can cut down to a workable handful some choices for you to look closer at.
