Bowling/Too Much "Headpin"

Question
I am a left handed bowler with a 167 average and a 300 ring. I use a "Storm High Road" Reactive Resin ball, 14 lbs. It seems that lately I've been getting too much headpin. I usually stand on the middle dot, and aim for the outside of the 2nd arrow from the left. As the ball approches the pocket, it seems to hook on the back end, and give me too much head pin. I've tried standing a few board to my right, further up, further back, faster, slower ball speed, and nothing seems to help. Also, about 8 times out of 10, I will leave the left side ( 7 pin, 7-8 pin,4-7 pin etc.) Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Answer
Gordon,
Try adjusting the surface of your bowling ball. If you keep it clean and shiny, a surface texture adjustment might be the thing, but if you don't do much maintenance on the ball, get it returned to out of box condition. If Out of Box is still too much, use a polish with slip agents like Storm's Extra Shine, Powerhouse Extender, Ultimate's Black Magic, Neo-Tac's Control It, etc. to gain additional skid.

Was the Hy-Road your 300 ball? Do you have a lot of games on the ball?

Thanks for the question. Good luck.
