Bowling/carry and push away

Question
I have two questions:
The first question I have relates to ball weight and carry. I am struggling with carry for the past couple years.  I am 5ft and about 105lbs I currently am throwing 15lbs and  Iam averaging 215.  Would dropping to 14lbs help me carry better?

Second question is, what can I do to improve my delayed push away? Any practice suggestions or exercises to do at home?

Answer
You do not mention your ball speed.  If dropping down to 14 pounds will increase your ball speed, it may increase your carry.

In your pushaway, place the ball down and over the big toe of your right foot, if you are right handed.  You can do this by practicing your swing in front of a mirror.  Your pushaway should place the ball into your swing at a 45 degree angle from your shoulder.

Good luck,
Chip
