Question
Can i wear a show made for the street to bowl in. even if i don't wear them on the street. I bowl in a usba league. If so our not what rule is it ?

Answer
You can wear non bowling shoes as long as they do not leave any residue on the approaches, and they are not worn on the street.  The bowling center or proprietor has final say on the matter.  Usually, if someone else on the pair complains about approach issues,such as sticking, you may be required to change shoes.
Dexter makes bowling shoes that can have rubber soles on both shoes for those bowlers that dont like to slide.
