Greetings Wadud, Most often, tracking over the finger hole depends on your release, and the drilling of the ball.
If your release is more up the back of the ball (right handed) you may track over the finger hole.
If your pin is drilled more to the left of your palm or center of your hand this could cause it to track over your finger holes as well.
In summary Wadud, changing your axis tilt at release may cause the track to fall away from the finger hole. If your release is from 6pm behind or from the bottom of the ball, perhaps moving your fingers to the 7 pm position for release may help. Try this first before redrilling. Thanks for your question, and best of luck. Please let me know how it goes.

P.S. I would like to add... Sometimes we may see something in bowling, (like tracking over the finger holes) to be a minor problem. If you truly like the ball reaction you are getting. Don't mess with a good thing! Take care and God's blessings to you!
