Bowling/Help with selecting suitable ball for me

Question
Hi,
I have stopped bowling for 13 years now, and I want to take up bowling again, so I am searching for a ball that would suit me. I'm a petite female, 105lb, who used to bowl with 13lb and 14lb Blue Hammer and a dry lane ball, and my speed is slow. I really like the way how my blue hammer in those days would hook fiercely at the backend. So I'm looking for a ball that behaves in a similar way. I'm thinking of getting 13lb instead of 14lb because I have no power when it's the latter. I have read that Storm Marvel and C System Ulti Max may suit my needs. I like a solid hook ball that can also play on medium lanes under slow throw speed. May I have your advise please?
Thank you so much.

Hello Herlina, wow, I am flattered...from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, a long way around the world. I have a couple of friends who have been there. Thank you for giving me a few details. It gives me a little insight into your bowling game. I am glad you are back and ready to knock some pins down! Let me start by saying when you look for a ball that will hook fiercely at the back end, it is often based on the lane and the ball talking to each other at the right time. You are in luck! The blue hammer has been re-released recently.
If the lanes you want to play on are medium to dry, a ball like the Storm Marvel would be fine, or the Storm Tropical Heat. A third option is a new ball coming out by Roto Grip in January called the Defiant. I love the numbers on this ball for the lower weights.
The outer surface and core differential on this lower weighted ball will give you a great punch on the back end while allowing you to clear the front end on drier conditions.
In summary Herlina, I would recommend the Heat, then the Marvel and lastly, the new Defiant coming out in January by Roto Grip. That is, if you can wait until January. Also, you have the option of getting the newly re-released blue hammer.
Your speed concerns me a little, however all of these bowling balls should clear the front end and pack a punch down lane. You ball driller will want to know where your track and your positive axis point lies on your bowling ball, so they can judge where to place your pin position. It may sound technical but follow their lead. If you are lucky it will probably end up just above your fingers or just to the outside of your ring finger. (provided you don't throw a backup ball)
Hope this truly helps! I would love to know if you opted to get the new blue hammer or one of the other balls. :-) Keep in touch...
