Is it ok to repaint a bowling ball and then use it on the alley? So far my internet research has came up about 50/50. I would hate to go to my bowling alley and mess up the lanes. My ball is a Brunswick LT 43 if that helps. Thank you and I appreciate it.

Friction created between ball and lane would destroy any paint put on a ball. Don't do it. The residue would end up on the lane and you would be held liable for the damage.
