Bowling/Drilling a ball for someone with arthritis

Question
My wife has arthritis in her fingers.  When it flares up she has difficulty bowling.  Is there a way to drill a ball to accomodate the arthritis so she can bowl up to her potential.

Answer
The pitch of the holes can be adjusted to help with the arthritis.  Usually, that would be adding reverse pitch to one or more of the holes.  Another option is to add a finger hole, pinky or index, depending on which gripping finger is most affected.  A good pro shop can help determine which would be best for your wife.

Good luck,
